IF YOU ARE A RETURN VISITOR, THANK YOU FOR VISITING AGAIN!
PLEASE KNOW THAT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE INFORMATION THAT WE WANT TO POST. ONCE SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION (SEPTEMBER 2009), MORE INFORMATION WILL BE UPLOADED WEEKLY. RIGHT NOW, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO TYPE WITH TWO YOUNG CHILDREN WANTING TO "HELP". :o)
Thank you so very much for visiting!
Undoubtedly, if your child has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy, you have been inundated with information and feel very overwhelmed. And most likely you have been on the Internet poring over horror stories of other children while trying to dig out the pertinent facts that you can apply to your family.
SeizureStraightTalk.com is different! We want you to have straight facts about seizures - things you can do to reduce the reoccurrences, questions to ask your doctors, tests to consider, etc. Most importantly, we want you to have HOPE that your child can be cured and will lead a long, happy, normal life.
It is very important to note that your doctor may not agree with everything that is discussed in this site, and that drug manufacturers, exterminators, and the FDA will most definitely disagree. However, this is information that we have gathered through our journey, and in some instances, information that we have learned the hard way. The information in this site is meant to get you thinking "outside-the-brain".
The body does not just have seizures because it wants to. There is always an underlying cause! In order for your child to overcome this hurdle, you will have to be relentless and persistent in your pursuit for answers and the right treatment. Do not accept that medicating is the only hope!
Lastly, this is a brand new site and we'd love your feedback - other topics to cover, questions to answer, additional advice to offer, or corrections to be made. Please send feedback to lori@seizurestraighttalk.com or go to Let's Connect.
Please continue to dig deeper into this site to learn more. And keep checking back as this site is still in development. We are in this journey together and hope to see you again!
